Experience the Benefits of Reflexology

What is reflexology?

Foot reflexology is a non-invasive complementary therapy that applies pressure to specific points (reflexes) on the feet, to help stimulate the body's natural healing process. It is based on the principle that these areas correspond to different parts of the body.

The benefits of reflexology

Reflexology encourages a state of deep relaxation which can help to alleviate tension, improve sleep, calm the mind, enhance energy, lift mood, and promote overall wellbeing. Reducing stress can be key in optimising good health and restoring harmony to both the body and mind.

What to expect during a session

I offer reflexology sessions in my home-based treatment room in Whiteley Meadows, Curbridge. Each session begins with a relaxing foot soak and a consultation to understand your health and lifestyle, allowing me to tailor the treatment to your needs. You will then lie comfortably on the treatment couch while I apply gentle, soothing pressure to the feet in a deeply relaxing reflexology sequence.

After years in a fast-paced marketing and copywriting career, I saw how constant pressure can drain us mentally, physically and emotionally.

Reflexology became my support through stress, anxiety and fertility challenges, and its impact stayed with me.

After becoming a mum, I knew I needed a new direction, so I retrained in reflexology, combining my passion for wellbeing with a desire to offer treatments that genuinely support people’s lives.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Reflexology suitable for me?

Reflexology is a very safe, non-invasive therapy that can be received by anyone at any age. However, there may occasionally be times when it is not suitable to provide treatment. Contraindications to reflexology include: Deep Vein Thrombosis or Thrombosis, a contagious or notifiable disease, imminent medical tests or procedures, injury or skin conditions affecting the lower leg or foot, undiagnosed pain affecting any part of the body, or recent surgery.

Reflexology is not a substitute for medical treatment; always consult your GP first for any health-related concerns.

Where does the treatment take place?

I offer treatments in a cosy, tranquil home-based therapy room located in Whiteley Meadows, Curbridge (SO30), just a couple of minutes’ drive from Whiteley Village Shopping Centre. There is ample parking available directly outside the house. Please note that the treatment room is situated upstairs; if you have any mobility concerns, kindly let me know in advance.

What if I fall asleep?

It’s completely normal to drift off during a treatment. In fact, it often means your body has reached a deep state of relaxation and is especially receptive to the benefits of the reflex work. If you find yourself dozing off, simply allow it to happen. I will gently wake you at the end of the session.

I'm ticklish! Can I have reflexology?!

I wondered this before my first reflexology session, as I’m incredibly ticklish!
Everyone is different, of course, but many people find that the treatment feels like a full-body experience, and they quickly forget that it’s only their feet being worked on.

My technique is gentle and light, but each movement has purpose and intention. The pressure applied is balanced in a way that generally prevents any ticklish sensation. Most people drift into a deeply relaxed, almost meditative state throughout the session.

How long do treatments last?

Treatments last one hour (£40). For your first session, please allow 1 hour 15 minutes to include an initial consultation. I also offer a 35-minute taster session (£28) if you’d prefer a shorter introduction to reflexology. Pedicure services are available and can be combined with reflexology for the ultimate relaxation. A standard pedicure is £28 (including soak, cuticle work, nail tidy, exfoliating scrub, mask, and a foot and lower-leg massage), or £40 with gel toes. Book a pedicure and reflexology treatment together to receive £5 off!

How often should I have Reflexology?

The ideal frequency varies from person to person, depending on your goals and overall wellbeing. Many people benefit from treatments every 2–4 weeks to maintain balance and relaxation, while others choose more frequent sessions during times of stress or when working on specific concerns. We can discuss what feels right for you and tailor a plan to support your needs.

How do I book?
